Fall Rally 2007

Yesterday was Fall Rally for Key Club at Six Flags. I got to spend one whole day with Brittany. Yay! The only bad thing was that we didn't really go on that many rides. We stayed in a group consisting of Brittany, Beverly, Del, Ray, Jesse, Philip, Bryan, Rosa, and me.
The first ride we went on was Goliath. Me, Ray, Philip, and Del sprinted to the ride so that we could ride it before going to the rally session. I also rode Goliath first last year.
Afterwards, we went back to where our division (D13 North!) was lining up and joined them. When we were allowed into the Golden Bear Theatre, we all rushed to claim the middle front portion of the theatre. The rally was rather boring. We cheered and screamed a lot though. It became fun when the dance competition started. Unlike last year, I actually went up and danced to represent our division. I met a guy named Anthony who was a popper, he was really good and lasted until finals, while I on the other hand lasted until semifinals. I messed up a lot, and crashed a flare. How embarassing. At least I got a green wristband.
When the dance competition ended, there was more talking and cheering. We also threw around an inflated monkey balloon because our divisional mascot is a monkey.
When the rally session ended, we gathered around and went to put our stuff in lockers. Brittany and Beverly went to the restroom, and everyone was leaving. I left the group to go look for Brittany and Beverly, turns out they were still in the restroom. I felt dumb for worrying. So we went to ride X, it was a 2 hour wait, but I think it was worth it. Brittany didn't want to ride it though so I was sad about that for making her wait. She went and rode other rides with Beverly then they came back and waited in line with us.
After X, we went to go eat. I had a huge turkey leg to myself and finished it. It was delicious.
When we finished eating, we went to ride Raging Rapids. Everyone got somewhat wet, but Rosa was fully soaked. I only had my jeans get wet.
The ride ended and we went to the restroom to sort of wash up, I guess. Then we had to decide what we were going to ride next. We went to line up for the Riddler, but after lining up for about an hour we realized we wouldn't have time to ride it at the rate that we were moving, so we went to ride Scream. The wait was about 20 minutes long, and it was really fun. Like last year's Fall Rally, it was the last ride of the day.
We all gathered at the front of the park and took roll, then walked to the bus. Me, Deanna, Jonathan and a few other people sprinted there. I felt like I was running faster than usual, it was strange. Random people started chasing after me and trying to block me, but I pushed them away.
The bus ride home was boring, but I loved it. Bonding time for me and Brittany (yeah on a bus, how weird), and the guys in the back of the bus were singing all the way to school.
Woohoo! I loved yesterday.
